The Northport Symphony Orchestra proudly performs three major concerts every season.
All of our concerts take place in the Robert W. Krueger Center for the Performing Arts at Northport High School at 8PM.
All of our major performances are free and open to the public.
We ask that, in lieu of paying for admission to our concerts, you consider making a donation to the orchestra as a gesture of appreciation for our performances.
You've heard of Mostly Mozart...
Well, our 2019-2020 season opens with a concert celebrating the music of Beethoven.
This jam-packed program will feature a complete cycle of Beethoven's Romances for violin, all 12 of his Contredanses for orchestra, the beloved overture to Egmont, and the First Symphony.
Joining us on stage is violinist Hahnsol Kim.
“…In other words, it was really good,” claimed the Boston Herald after his performance of the Sibelius violin concerto in Boston.
Following this performance, 25-year-old Hahnsol Kim made a successful debut in Alice Tully Hall with the Juilliard Orchestra in May 2014 as a result of winning the Juilliard Concerto Competition.
Born in New York, violinist Hahnsol Kim began his studies at the age of five.
He graduated from the Yewon School and the Seoul Arts High School in Korea, where he studied with Ms. Hyunmi Kim.
Mr. Kim won prizes from Osaka International Music Competition, Sion Valais competition and Dong-A Music Competition.
